My biggest problem with this stock was that it is thinly traded. I bought
at support and sold once the bid moved up. I however doubt that I would
have been able to make this trade if it was with real money, I don't believe
the trade would have went through (at least not as fast as it did with my
paper trading account).

Orange I have no Idea in h e double hockey sticks what I am doing but I am going to be joining in. Although I will only be starting with about 150 dollars. I own three stocks that are more long term than short for any investment but I would like to join in with 150. I hope you will have me although I wont actually be able to join in until next week but I am game. I can't wait to see what I am doing. Although any help through a pm would be great. So if you wanna see a total newb join the game and either do well or lose I am here.

Good luck with 150$, The problem with that is to buy and sell the total commisions is between 12-20$. So even a 10% gain on the stock will leave you even or red. Its alot easier if you a few hundred dollars, but if 150$ is all you got, im sure things will work out GL

I know i'm a little special and new to this but I have had an account for years upon years and I don't think I have commission. I know awhile back I made about 2000 in about 3 months but that was a long time ago when everything was on its way up. Well even if I don't make anything its a matter of time till I can pad the account with more money. I am currently unemployed and I have 150 that I can feel comfortable with. So for this second I am running with that. When I get a job my start will go from 150 to 500 or 1k. I enjoy screwing around with the market. One of my current picks that is a holder is a company that is producing a movie with Pacino and DeNiro. I think when that movie hits markets it will make enough money to put this company on the map. Maybe i'm wrong but thats one of my holders. The 150 is going to include my trade fee. So I will probably only really be hitting around 100 total to start. I might go for broke and cheat to get it up higher than 100 though.

My first trade was about 20 years ago and started with 130.00 dollars and had to pay 20 in and 20 out to make my first trade that trade held for 6 months got me out of the market with a total of 500.00 after paying the 40.00 round trip fee. Got lucky and got in on an ipo that took off for a while. The company I had is no longer in business but sometimes things work in the beginning so select wisely and your money will grow.

Check your total should be the same, looks like you reported your result total without subtracting your commish. Just a heads up for you to take a look at it

In order to clarify what I was saying in the private message to you I have included a snag file of the setup I was talking about to you .

Notice that the chart is annotated and it is on a 2.00 stock CTCH as you can see the higher lowest low of volume for the last thirty days is increasing and the lowest low of price for the last 30 days is also increasing. I use the lowest low of price of the stock instead of the high incase the stock is consolidating from a previous high. In any case I hope the attached image will show you exactly what I was talking about in my private message to you. Also do not forget to include the other two conditions required for the stock play to work in a 2 or three day time span. Not sure if this one will play out but looks ok. The scan gave only 7 picks tonight and some of them looking back at volume did not seem to have enough to make for a viable choice over the long haul.
