i'm basically using it all. whatever works. for me, only thing OFF the table is pinks. so far i've hit 1 otcbb and 1 nazz. maybe next week: roachbelly puts.

i'm trying to stick to daytrades for enhanced frequency, so momo and 3-min charts are main thing for me now. i look the night before, of course, to see what might happen. sorry to hear abt crash and burn. so come on in with just the $500 this time. glad you're back!!

At $10k plus per trade I would suggest basket trading(if your service supports it) or ETF's. Sector biased and regional ETF's can give you 3 and 4% swings and were only shooting for 10% a week so moving only twice gets you 6% to 8% with little risk. The balance can be gotten from options or large caps with minimal risk. Keeping a small percentage at work in the pennies will also help maintain the goal with a relatively small amount of capital at the higher risk.

actually, xeller, for me it's turning out to be LESS work than standard trading.
anyway, i was thinking abt this last night then saw faithcounts' post today. faith- if you want me to backstop then post by midnight est. after that, the slot is open again. would be nice if some other traders stepped up to mentor- it's just short-term, then those who learn can step up, etc...

my little idea....
i'm not much as a mentor, but i can be a pretty good backstop sometimes. others here are REAL mentors. this idea could serve newbies and mentors. noobs get some mentoring, and once in awhile mentors get some good picks they didn't have to hunt for.

right now, i'm offering to backstop ONE and ONLY ONE person for the next 7 days. after that, you find another backstop or mentor if there is one. okay? i will NOT propose picks for you- DON'T ASK. i'll just share some stuff abt how i screen so you learn more abt screening. you can pm me with up to six of your "finds" over the next 7 days. this is NOT for general trading, you MUST be using it for joining at $500 or $1k in this thread ONLY. finally, neither i nor the owners of this board shall be held responsible for any losses you may experience, or for missed profits. so- if faithcounts not in by midnight, i'll take "whomever".

Man...Im a slacker...Ive been trading and actually had a decent first couple weeks of 07 but I havent officialy joined this experiemnt as I said i was going to...

Mainly cause I have been planning on transferring some funds over to lowtrades first....but again, procrastination....

Anyway - not going to count anything towards this experiment until I do it OFFICIALLY...lol Okay - Ill try and get on and sign up for a lowtrades account tonight....I swear...lol

EDIT: Sheesh....just popped onto lowtrades and I see that in order to open an account, i have to download app and send it in via snail mail..... so it looks like I may not be up and running until next week....

I would love to get into something like this but I have zero skills. Backstopping or mentoring might be something I could use. I am not looking for someone to tell me what to pick but how to go about finding my own picks. What to use and how to use it. Thats what I am looking for.
