Way more TA-based than stock market, with exception of economic report releases (but even then, it still observes basic TA rules).

Biggest positives - no millions of charts to scan, PRs and rumors to read, board pumps and dumps to worry about; 24 hours a day, from Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon. No 25k requirement to daytrade, you can short and hedge all you want (you can start a mini-account with about $250, maybe even less) etc etc etc.

Biggest negatives - 24 hours a day, from Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon

yah, LOL-- they pumped it back up abt 70 pips, giant runup right after i posted.
um- Titan, i should explain. my term "de facto mm's" refers to govt's and big institutionals, not actual mm's. when a few of these ppl get ready, they can move the mkt any direction they want- their reach tho is usually short but powerful (range-bound, usually). TA remains in effect. quant remains in effect. you either gotta play WITH em, or have enough Available Margin to take a short-term beating if it happens. kinda like playing basketball with gorillas. LOL
