Could someone point me to a good investment house that doesnt require a minimum balance to open account? Im looking to make my first stock purchase this week with my tax return money.

if you mean online, im using scottrade, i had people suggest them to me and so far no complaints, I trade only with cash so the settle time for funds doesnt really affect me, ive heard some complaints about them but in my experience they have been really helpful as far as phone calls etc. but as always look around before deciding. hope it helps and good luck
