hi guys and gals anyone here from the south. have you heard of ZAXBY's restourant? i have not amass such huge amount of money that i am thinking of opening one. they only cost 400,000 dollars to franchise one.
should i . have anyone been to it. i like it very much. they cook the food when you order it but hen it is a fast food restraurant. somewhat like a hybrid of a normal restourant and a chick fil a. fresh and fast. but then a restourant is a lot of work. and franchising means getting rip off by the franchiser. i mean i have to pay all these stupid franchicese fees and royalty and then national advertising fees. and then the product that i buy has to be gought from them and so on. so i think at the end i will be making less. anyone franchise anything before how is it like? anyone have any advice on it? like restourant business and franchise or what ever. talk to me. or should i just continue playing stock and triple my money. but playing stock looks so unstable. opening a business sounds better what do you think? anyway thanks for answering and helping me out. |

Hey Ahmad,
Your english is doing just fine. God, I would hate to see how bad I would butcher any of the languages I have studied over the years.......Let alone my own!!! Anyway, I have never heard of Zaxby's. Me personally, I wouldnt start a restaurant. Its a TON of work and requires more attention and stress than I would like. But I must digress, this isnt me we are talking about ![]() I just wanted to tickle your brain a little bit and see what you think. Have you thought about coming up with your own restaurant? What would be the pros and cons? What are your big reasons to pursue a franchise? What type of growth would you expect to see in the area you are planning on opening it? Would you have to take out a lone in order to cover the costs? If so how long would you expect to have to pay it off, at what rate, so on and so forth. I am not trying to sway you in any way what-so-ever. Again, me personally, restaurants and franchises are bad. But then again I have heard of plenty of people who have become very wealthy by doing so. Also if the area you are planning on opening this maybe a high growth location. If you want to talk more about this with my, I would be more than happy to help out in anyway I can. The one piece of advice for you here is timeless in my mind. Do what you love. It will all fall into place for you from there on. Good Luck! |

yup zaxby's is goood food. true chik-fil-a beat them but not lagging behind because zaxby's have more choices and the main thing is i like my food HOT.(as in just cooked) nah i am done with the restaurant idea. i am thinking about opening an accounting firm. takes nothing to open one. well a couple of thousand for software and some computers and a some desk and an office. easy. and money is so easy. i mean bookeeping for a month worth of account for one company can rig in 300 bucks minimum. not including services like payroll and such. times that by say 30 company. that 9000 minimum per month. (think 200 companies) how long does it takes for counting one company. well say 1-2 hr max. and i also did a research. there is a lot of small business that doesnt have accountant. so the market is out there. and it is so easy to get customer. just offered the best price. business is business. hire 2 people. say accountants. cost like what 50k starting year each. then there is the tax season. say 100 per customer times it by 2000 customer. you get like what 200K. then there is other services like incorprating, auditing, consulting and etc. so all these is just looking at it minimum. at the end i still make more then i will if i get a job. ------------------------------------------------------------------- but do i want to do something like that. sure. but not now. i seems to gotten acustom to doing nothing. hmmmmmmmmmmmm............................... p.s. by the way i dont have an accounting degree. but i can still do accounting. also you dont have to be a CPA to do accounts. if you are a CPA you have to charge at a certain price range. it is all regulated. so while CPA charge 500 bucks per month i charge 300 or less. as i wish. also as a CPA they cannot advertise their services. like you know money mailer. where else a non CPA can. so i cant even offer coupon and such. good deal ay?

zaxby's
I am a Zaxby's franchisee. It is hard work, but the franchise is solid. They have an excellent menu and work hard at keeping it appealing. However, if you don't know the restaurant business, it might be good to work in a restaurant (Zaxby's) before you purchase a franchise. Or...talk to a handson franchisee.
