Has anyone read "A Random Walk Down Wallstreet"?

I forget who wrote it but I read bits and pieces. What are your thoughts on the book?

Due to the nature of survival of the fittest I agree with the book that the best analysts find themselves promoted out of their very own job.

However, I disagree with the main point of the book, that there are no patterns to be observed in Wallstreet.

Which leads me to this forum and the aquistion of an online security trading account. My challenge is to find order in the disorder.

I have. Everyone should read it since it gives the efficient market hypothesis. But I disagree with it. Markets are efficient in the long-run but not necessarily in the short-run.
