Im not sure what is going on here lately, but there seems to be some dismay among a few members which is causing much disruption on this board. As a senior member of this board I will "ask" that we put a stop to this nonsense before it has to be taken a step further and some are ask to leave. This board has been a wonderful place to gather and exchange information, make new friends, and discover stocks that can help us all make a few bucks along the way. I dont know what seems to be the root of this problem but the childish nonsense needs to stop immediately.......I for one dont have enough time in the day to read some of the nonsense that has been posted here lately.
Be glad this board isnt like some of the "Other" boards out there where if you say the wrong word you get banned, or post a link you get banned, pump a stock you get banned, and heaven forbid you question one of there senior members........get the idea. This room isnt run that way and if that happens I will promptly leave and the door wont be hitting me in the butt.
This is a great place with great members, we each have alot to offer each other if we all just work together, so hows about folks, can we just try and get along????

i agree 100%. if you kids want to fight and continue to act like children try a yahoo room and you will fit right in. take some time and read some of the senior members here posts like greencat and hellcat and you will see that these people really know the market and are glad to share with you and help you anyway they can to make your trading experiences a lot more fun and profitable. of the top of my head mesp was first found in this forum from a scan provided by greencat which i invested in and started the thread. this stock has continued to make a lot of people good money including me. hellcats winn dixie thread in 2 days i made a nice peice of change from it. i don't know if any of you other people took advantage of it. when they tell you a stock they are not saying buy it but trying to give you something to look at and make your own decision. i can go on and on but i think you get the message. We had jpmorganson join the forum recently and with the childish stuff you all posted i don't think he will be back. to bad he was also someone you could have learned from. quit the the fighting. if someones posts you do not like thier is an ignore function so you won't see them. if you are going to read them ignore them and they will get the message.

Alright, it's time to bring back some order to our community

First of all, MassiveB, who we've confirmed is Lekkartel, has been assigned a permanent ban. We caution members who've been banned not to come back and disrupt the peace under a disguised moniker--it's not hard to find you and swat you guys out.

Secondly, in the future, any member found to be acting to the detriment of the community (ie. Childlike behaviour, name calling, instigating flame wars, spamming, pumping) will receive at the very least a temporary ban of 1 week. Continuation of such behaviour will likely result in a permanent ban on the offending member.

We all need to be more vigilant around here and ensure that the forum doesn't degrade into a cesspool. Remember, our ultimate goal here is to help each other out and make a bit of money. Those who can't do this in a civil way will be punished. Moreover, I encourage members to use the 'ignore' feature on a temporary basis if someone is harassing you.

Please feel free to send me a private message to voice your concerns at anytime if you feel you are either the victim of harassment here or feel someone is acting to the detriment of the overall community.

massiveb has gone by other names also. i imagine he was warned when using the other name so changed it and continued what he was doing. personally i ignored his posts. they just don't ban someone here for the sake of banning them.

Theres also a difference when all arguments revolve around one person. And yes, the ignore feature is your friend. Having an opposite feeling about something isnt the problem. The problem is when it gets personal and pointless.

Well now. I might start posting in earnest again with charts. Time permitting of course. I have streamlined my efforts with some true pro's and it has saved me a great deal of time.

I am going to be honest. This board has gotten childish and turned me off. People we are here to make money excange our thoughts. You can disagree with me and no offense taken as long as you have something honest to counterpoint. When you start posting just to get points you are losing focus. I have alot of points but I have been on this board a year. Do some of you guys really trade or do you just post?

I am an active trader that made money this week and this was one a tough week. MLXO kicked my butt but I added more at he bottom. EZTO if you own this stock like I do buckle up. UVCL a friend of mine got me into this stock and I have seen green ever since. (sold half friday).

My question is are you serious about trading? Like hellcat I know where the door is. Please dont attack someone who is trying to learn. Yea bashers an pumpers need a foot in the butt. Lend your knowledge in a gentel manner. Once upon a time we were all newbies or green if you will. And for that matter I continue to learn and adapt to the market.

I agree with this thread. Then again, I am quiite new... But I have been reading this board for about a year. Let's not be childish and not post to get points. You will not earn respect by points. It's about sharing info and learning from eachother with respect. Even if you disagree.

Well I am very happy he was banned. The only reason I got involved is because it was not a long time ago that I thought group buying was the answer. Anyone who is new to stocks is going to get excited and drop $ in these group guys. I will not let that happen to other new people on this board or any other board I am a part of because its just not right. So if anyone thinks I was being childish for looking out for newbies then so be it. I will continue to keep that group buy stuff out of this forum. I'm sure some people that are reading this right now are thanking me for letting them know what bad news this guy was/is. Anyway....glad hes gone...back to stocks.

I know for a fact that at least several people on this forum bought-into Lekkartel's scheme and lost a good amount of money investing in his so-called "runners." Lekkartel is more than simply a troll, he is a scammer.

I guess I have not spent enough time here, but I have not seen any problems.

I'm not trying to make enemies here, but I'm not much good at diluting my feelings and putting sugar on them so people like me....so don't take offense.


But, I havn't seen where anybody has done anything to warrant being banned. Althought MassiveB may have done something in the past that's more than what I've seen recently, most of what I've seen is guys here attacking him.

Everybody has opinions, and they are often very different. To say that somebody is childish to disagree with yours is childish in itself. The adult thing to do is turn the other way and ignore the statements, or respect that that person doesn't like your opinions either and you both will respectfully disagree.

I really try to avoid putting people down or criticizing them. It only makes people more defensive and less likely to change their mind, no matter how logical your side of things is.

Another thing that bothers me on these stock message forums is that there's so many people being called bashers and pumpers. What the hell...you can either think there's reason to buy and do so, or think there's reason to not and not. There is no middle of the road here, so in my book, you either pump a stock, bash it, or you're not even in the game. You can see threads where people are posting how they are going to get rich on CKMX, but somehow they don't feel they're pumping it?? I don't get it.

As I see it, we're all pumpers AND bashers. Sure, I'll talk good about one if I think it's good (pump) and talk bad about another one if I think it's bad (bash). I don't see the shame in speaking your mind and stating your opinions in a public forum. Sure, there's a difference in telling somebody that you disagree vs telling them they're an idiot...big difference.
