Exclamation Promoting Group buys can mess people up!

okay this is my issue.

this past few months there is a lot of talks about group buys and group pumps and so on.

the main reason i think this is bad is because i think this will MESS people UP big time.

group buys usually work on other peoples backs. most of the time people who is inexperience , greedy, or just numbnuts.

sometime these people are dumb enough to borrow margin to play these group buys. and this is probably the worst because then they will not only lose money but also own the margin money. this will really mess people up.

another thing is that it is illegal to manipulate stock. YES it is .
so people will probably end up in jail. and in jail you will probably be serve BIG BURRItos all the time day and night. it might be funny until you are serve one. so think about that and your family before you do illegal stuff.

another thing is that i think these talks hinder people from learning to trade stock the actuall way.

anyway i hope this will be the major thread in the disccusion on why people should and not should , the consequences, the con and pro and the success story(if there is any)and the failure and being a sucker story.

i hope many of you will chip in and talk about it. so that newbies and people who even think about buying group buys will be WARNED.

also i hope everyone here will coorperate and warn people if they know that that stock is a group buy picks or some pump stock pick.

i tried to do this but this is a community. so 1 soilder is not going to be able to cover everything. so if i see a stock that is discussing here and it is a known stock pick form some group buys or pump stock. i will warn you guys but if you also know please warn us about it. and support each other not to buy these picks.

sorry for the long post.
please give me some comments so i can earn reputation. i still own negative 185 reputation. and for every 4 comment i get 1 reputation. so keep it coming.

bye
please everyone chip in.

I agree ahmad, group picks should not be brought around here as I think it takes away from the quality of the board...

100% correct you are.

Group plays always leave bagholders and there is never
realistic price sustainability that results from a group pick.

More people are going to lose than win, and usually only the
group leader takes all the profits.

I agree but what about greenbaron I believe that there is some good money in those picks. Because you can buy right when the picks are released and at the end of the day have 10-20 percent increase. I have not actually played greenbarons picks but I have been watching them closely...
