Coming Collapse of the Dollar & How to Profit From It

"Collapse of the Dollar & How to Profit From It", written by James Turkand and John Rubino, is a mind boogling book to read. (just read it - copywrite 2004)

As a teacher, I like to think that a person can learn from history and where possible prevent unnecessary losses.

Goldilocks and The Three Bears popped into my head after I read Turkland/Rubino's book for whatever reason.

It appears that it would be prudent to be a Goldilocks and sample the poridge from gold stock, from Energy Transfer Funds, and from indexed bear funds such as Prudent Bear.

Selling short on foreign exporters as well as using call and put options on mining stock was another Goldlocks move to consider for those with experience in the woods so to speak. (I am not there myself yet)

In short, I figure that I would ask if this strategy is working for others so that I and others may continue to learn and eat our poridge too.

Both Turkland and Rubino suggest that the collapse of the dollar is not so much a possiblity as it is a question of when it will collapse. That is their theory anyway.

Regards, Gordon McLean

...opps I did it again as Brittany Spears might say. My bad I James Turk got typed together with and to be Turkand (my bad). With luck maybe I can buy some of his eGold to make amends...

Did you know that the largest gold nugget in the world is called "the Welcome Stranger" found in Australia 1869 - it weighed about 71 kilos enough to be a fillling for a dinasour.

Cool Is Cash Still King? Say Good-Bye to Egold?!

Why was e-gold® actually indicted? And, why were their exchangers funds frozen? Is this reminiscent of the 1930’s confiscation of citizens gold? It’s beginning to look like an era gone by, with Americans placing their confidence in gold rather than weak and failing US dollars. Who was it that said competition’s a sin?

Where can one who has some cash put their money and feel secure that it won’t be stolen, confiscated or frozen for an unspecified period of time. Mattresses and holes in the back yard are looking better all the time!
