How do you make money to invest?

Hey I was curious as to what you all use to put money into your portfolio when you were starting/lost it all. Adding funds to your portfolio besides making money off stock itself. I personally sell stuff on ebay and am building up my portfolio to make some profitable trades. Im guessing mainly people use there main source of income?

I make money from websites, and trading stocks. I started with only 3K 2 years ago and built up a massive portforlio.
