www.thegreenbaron.com

Ive been a member of this site for about three months now...Every time they make a pick it jumps big time the following day...I think we should all be members of this site and seriously consider buying their suggestions the day after they are relased. If you register they send you and email the night before the next market opening. Do your homework and look over the charts and dates of pick releases....Im going with whatever they suggest from now on.

hmmm

there are certain sights that are designed to Pump stocks ( nothing wrong with this that is why they exist) but i prefer to do my own research for my own investments plus i find their methods to be suspect IMO.

Most of you are probably aware of this... While it might work for short term gains for day traders, they conveniently highlight the highs that a stock has reached since they recommended a stock (on their front page, and in the stock profiles section) - even if that was weeks or months back. I.e., they don't list what their previous picks are trading at today. In just a brief review of some of the picks (that they still have listed), some have gone down considerably since they picked them, or are no longer available. Just a different type of investing/trading than I'm comfortable with - but certainly may work for others seeking a quick profit. i.e., I don't like to have to check how a stock is doing 20 times a day, and it usually takes me days (or much longer) to get comfortable with putting my money somewhere. Obviously there are pros and cons with my conservative approach. JMO

That's for sure. Their website is pretty good if you're into daytrading since you can catch that momentum at the start of the day but I'd never trust them for the long haul.

My best guess, based on a review of the stocks listed on that website, is that they get news from a company shortly before that news is made available to the masses. Or, the company tells green baron people that they think good news will be coming shortly. Just look at when they recommend a company and when news becomes published shortly thereafter. (Not sure why this wouldn't register as insider trading...) So basically subscribers to the website are gambling on whether or not everyone else is going to see the baron's insider info (which is now public info) as good or bad - i.e., a buy on the rumor, sell on the news mentality. Obviuosly, make sure you have a stop loss in place.
