So are they going to try to exist as an exploration company until the business situation gets better???

Is there a recent announcement or news article that people are talking about? Where is it?

I just re-read part of the report and this section leaves me with two different meanings all together. It probably means nothing worth talking about. Anyways, it goes as follows.

Revised cash Flow Forecast
From Feb. 10 to Dec. 31 2008
(the "February 15 Forecast").

"The major changes in assumptions underlying the February 15 Forecast as compared to the February 1 Forecast, as defined in the Monitor's First Report, are as follows:
(i) The shipment of fuel to the Jericho Mine in February using the winter road, rather than bringing fuel in by air during the summer, resulting in an estimated cost saving of approximately $ 850,000"

Can anyone postulate as to why they would bring in fuel if they were closing down? (My guess was the exploration - but that is just it, a guess... ...useful news, as usual, is not forthcoming from the BoD.

I hate to be a cynic and all, but the security in taking things in and out is so unbelievably tight in these mines that I have a hard time believing someone just waltzed in with a camera and out with these photos. The bigger problem I have, Silver70, is that the last time you posted on this board was a pretty clear attempt to pump up this stock as well. You posted this in March, 2006:

I was just passing on information from a friend that works there... just like last time. I also don't own any stock in Tahara, although I did at one time.
I thought the photos were interesting, especially in light of the fact that they are closing up shop. My buddy says a good portion of the equipment is dismantled now, and on its way out.
But.... maybe he's been feeding me a line of bull...

Well, pinks or no, the tahara business model wasn't based on a par dollar.
BTW, it seems to me I posted last year about the "glory hole" they had started, which also came from same source. And we all know what is going on when they start digging those.

At any rate I'm quite sad to see the mine go down, I've been following it from the start whether I was invested or not.
