Sold 10 HAL Feb $30 call options purchased at $0.7 for $0.95 (My limit order target). Initial cost ($719.50) including commissions, for $911 after commissions. A $191 gain. 26.6%. This play was a combination of fundamentals and T/A. A market over-reaction made me investigate an ETF that had been overly beaten down in recent weeks. This stock had the best risk/reward options spead of the major players in the ETF and the ugly duckling would be brought up with his better looking swan family when the bounce occurred (or perceived bottom, short term it traded the same) and it did today (see ticker OIH for the ETF). This play probably has significant upside left, but I hit my target, got my profit, and am moving on.

A note:
I intend to be honest about trades that go bad and post them here if the trade was flagged in my personal notes as a MM500 experiment play PRIOR to initiation of the trade. I do not think it is honest to come here and post your best trade of the week, it gives a skewed and false impression of 1000% gains every week which cannot be sustained. Anyone can look like a genius if you only post the good trades you make
